Located at a high-visibility urban junction in Kolkata, this commercial proposal is a sculptural response to the city’s deep-rooted relationship with the Hooghly River. Drawing inspiration from the river’s fluid heritage, the building’s massing moves in organic curves that mirror the natural bends of the water, breaking away from the rigid lines of the surrounding commercial and residential developments.

The design is deeply informed by its site orientation; the dual road frontage and east-west arterial path dictate a performance-driven skin that balances expansive views of the metro corridor with advanced thermal comfort. By strategically managing the harsh southwest afternoon sun through specialized glazing and shading, the structure maintains a high-end aesthetic without compromising efficiency.

Programmatically, the 10-story form functions as a vertical destination: a premier street-level car showroom anchors the base, followed by two floors of modern co-working ecosystems, and culminating in a panoramic rooftop restaurant and bar.
